Description
Here is a perfect appetizer for nearly any dish! Extremely delicious and fast these fried cheese curds could be the star appetizer, a date idea, a late-night snack, or that snack you make when you are home alone because you don't want to share!
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. cheese curds
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 quarts corn oil
- 1 can of beer
Instructions
Step 1: Heat corn oil to 350 °F in a deep Dutch oven.
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, whisk milk, flour, beer, and eggs until smooth. Place 6-10 cheese curds into the batter and coat. Remove with a wire strainer and shake to remove the excess batter. Place coated cheese curds into the heated oil and fry for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 3: Remove and drain on a paper towel-lined plate. Repeat as necessary. Serve hot.
